Homeowners in Satellite Beach, FL, have lived in their house since it was built 43 years ago. During the last several years, they noticed areas of the driveway with worsening cracks and uneven slabs.
It is common for concrete to sink over the years, mostly due to settling soil underneath. This lack of support results in unsafe and unsightly areas of concrete.
This greatly concerned the homeowners, because they wanted to have a safe area for their grandchildren to play basketball without tripping. They were motivated to contact Florida Foundation Authority after learning about our company and our concrete repair services on Home Advisor. They met with Brendan Kent who evaluated the condition of the concrete. Brendan then recommended our state-of-the-art repair solution.
Foreman Mike McDonald and his crew then installed the PolyLevel System to lift, level and stabilize the concrete driveway. This involved drilling very small holes into the cracking and sinking slabs. Injection ports were then placed in these holes, and special equipment was used to inject high-density polyurethane underneath the slabs. This material then expands to fill any voids, and this allows for the precise lifting and leveling of the slabs. PolyLevel is lightweight, durable, and it will not wash out from underneath the concrete. Its quick cure time also allows for normal traffic to resume just 15 minutes after installation.
The homeowners now have peace of mind knowing this trustworthy repair was completed to create a safer living environment.
